I wanna know which music you like and discuss a little bit about it.
I like rock and heavy metal very much. But not all heavy metal bands. Not that New Metal bands like Linkin Park.

I really like reggae music!! because of the nice riddims and the thoughtful lyrics...

and I also listen to austrian and german rap music.
many people think that rap music is about saying motherf**ker all the time , because there are only dumb,commercial rap artists at MTV!!
but there are also some geniuses like:

I agree in what you say about rap. I quite like those old rap music because in earlier times they didn't rap about those stupid things.
I think rap is really creativ because of the "co-operation" of lyrics and rhythm.

I don't listen to rap music, but I still agree with you about the lyrics.

But my favorite bands are for example: Good Charlotte, My Chemical Romance, Blue October.
I also listen to some Estonian music like Dagö, Tanel Padar & The Sun, Traffic.

I don't really know why I listen to this kind of music. I gues I just like it.

I listen to hm... let's say about 80% to Japanese (or other Asian) music ;P
But I also like some German and other music. I really listen to almost all kinds of genres. I just listen to what I consider as good or what fits my mood...

Recently I have started to listen just about everything, except trance, disco etc. I really like Good Charlotte, My Chemical Romance, Aerosmith, Oasis, Plain White T's and Estonian artists like Dagö, Chalice, Traffic, Tanel Padar and The Sun. There are many more great bands, but these came to my mind first.

I like bands like Postgirobygget, DMB, Kent, Marcy Playground, you won't belive if you'd know, but also Odd Nordstoga, then Kurt Nilsen, Jack Johnson is good, too, and then I like all sorts of acoustic guitar music, for example Andy Mckee, who is just awesome. From Estonian bands I like Dagö and Säsi. Well, there are more

I must say that I really don't listen to rap and usually not to heavy metal either. Mostly I'm into sort of acoustic music. But I like all music, so no hard feelings!

but I really love german music like ärzte, beatstakes, sportfteunde stiller, tote hosen and so on.. I would like to know if the estonians and czechs know about german bands? and if they like them?

From German bands I know Silbermond, Killerpilze, Juli..... even more, I think, but not at the moment
I've heard only few songs from them, but they're quite OK.

I know Silbermond, Killerpilze, Nena, Die Ärtzte, Tokio Hotel, Rammstein and some others too.
I listen Ärtzte and Nena sometimes
In general German bands are quite ok.

But i'd like to now if you (chzechs and austrians) know any Estonian bands? what do you think about them?

D'ye like new Ärzte/Nena songs better than old ones?
I've never been listening to any Estonian music so far.

But maybe you all would be so nice and take some music you like with you, when you come here in Estonia, because it looks we don't know much about the music there. It would be nice to listen to it even at our "party".

Well, I don't like the popular music from germany like killerpilze or tokio hotel. But there are many good bands which aren't known well.

well, I like new and old ärzte songs, but I think that the new ones are partly better, because they're gesellschaftskritisch ^^ ok I mean... critical of society (I looked it up ^^)

but i really don't like Nena's new songs :/ I think the old songs are more charming, the new ones are just commercial ... bäh!

Should this music be in czech language? Because I think for some foreigners czech texts/lyrics can sound really strange

to german bands: I know quite a lot but I not listen to them anymore... Some of them were already told- Ärzte, Toten Hosen, Killerpilze, Silbermond, ua ua.

And about my personal favourite music- I'm a big fan of Good Charlotte!! I listen to them for about 6 years and their songs still have a big meaning for me... And they will have a concert in Czech republic !!!!! At 30.3.2008!!
Then I like RHCP, U2, R.E.M., Deep Purple, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Paul Gilbert, Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, E.S.T., Blackmore's Night, Iron Maiden, Nightwish, and other... I like rock..

I really like steve vai, paul gilbert and joe satriani and I've already seen the first two in concert :-)

nono, I don't mean that the olds ones weren't critical of society, but you know a lot songs of the old ones (Geschwisterliebe, Schlaflied and so on) were more entertaining and not demonstrating like "deine schuld" or "junge"

and I don't think that their spell is fading.. I linstened to the new album about a hundert times, and I just think it's genius again, but I think that everyone has his/her own opinion on die ärzte

I generally listen to Turkish music, but I also listen to German, English or American music as well. I like nearly every kind of music ( if the song i good). But I don't like heavy metal or stuff like this. But I like rock very much...

Can you write a part of an Estonian text. You said that it yould be strange for us. I'm interested in it. I want to see how strange it is for me:)
