hey Büsra, you wanted a part of an Estonian text. I'll write a part of a song. Believe me, it's strange for you Laughing

soovin head, kus ka iganes sa viibid
hei mis teed, kuhu viin’d sind su tee on
on nii hea, et mu unistused hoitud
kindel see, sinu juures nende paik on

lauluread heidan tuulde
tahan jġuda su juurde

igatsus pole süüdi
igatsus teeb head
igatsus annab teada
armastus meist inimese teeb

Heh, what song is that, Kadri?

Anyways, i thought maybe you'd like to know what you're reading, too. Smile

I wish you good, where ever you are
hey what are you doing, where has your road taken you
it's so good, that my dreams are kept
it's sure, their place is close to you

i will throw the lines of song in the wind
i want to reach to you

longing isn't guilty
longing does good
longing let's you know
love'll make us human

Oh and what else i thought: when we talked about music, than I think that almost all Estonians mentioned one Estonian band Dagö. They are singing in Estonian and have a pretty sweet homepage.

Main page: http://www.dago-band.ee/sisu/index.php?lang=en

Direct link to listen to music:
http://www.dago-band.ee/sisu/index.php?option=com_content&task=blogcategory&id=3&Itemid=7

And another good thing: they have the lyrics in English, too, next to the listening button, so you can actually get some clue about what you are hearing. You can read the lyrics in Estonian if you go to the Estonian page.

And here is some Czech song: its from the band called "Divokej Bill" and I wouldn't translate it 'cause I really don't know how.. Very Happy

Dávám ti znamení ať víš kam jít
A ty dávᚠmi znamení ať vim kam jít
Dávám ti znamení ať zase víš kam jít
A ty dávᚠmi znamení ať vim kam jít
Piju to tvoje zlŭ víno
Samá voda, samá voda, je to samá voda
Ale kosa na kámen, narazí
Kosa na kámen, to tě zamrazí
Kosa na kámen je znamení
Kosa na kámen ať víš kam jít
Jako kosa na kámen je znamení
ať víš kam jít,
že křídla mᚠporaněnŭ,
znamení ať víš kam jít.
Jako kosa ..................
Piju to tvoje zlŭ víno,
samá voda, samá voda, je to samá voda
A to se může stát,
to víš, že se to může stát,
že i ty se začneš kácet
Mᚠtisíc důvodů skočit a to se může stát, t
o víš, že se to může stát,
že i ty se začneš kácet.
Hoooooooaaaaauuuuuo!!!!!!
Samá voda, samá voda, samá voda.....
Dál, piju to tvoje slíbíno,
samá voda, samá voda
je to samá voda
A tu nezapálíš
a to se může stát,
že i ty se začneš kácet
Protože mᚠtisíc důvodů skočit
a to se může stát,
to víš, že se to může stát,
že i ty se začneš
Kácet, protože mᚠtisíc důvodů skočit
a to se může stát, ty vole to se může stát,
že i ty se začneš kácet,
mᚠtisíc duvodů skočit, všechno otočit,
napořád........

Estonian seems to be an interesting language. Very different from the languages I know (:

The Czech text which was posted by Anezka is also nice, because I understand nearly everything xD It's quite similar to Croatian (my mother-tongue) ^^

I could also bring Croatian (or actually every kind of) music, if anyone's interested!? I don't like it that much, but yea...

I've listened to traditional turkish music and I think it's very interesting because they use notes you would never think of. But modern music would be interesting too I think.

I loove RHCP and many many more, it's senseless just to give the list. But the Blackmore's is one of my favourites as well... To the foreign music- it is really perfect sometimes just to listen to the music and the words, even if you don't understand a thing, i.e. Björk, O-Zone.. And this Dagö band is really cool as well, I like it :-). If we bring some czech music, in which format do you want it, so we could play it loud on some loudspeakers you got there? Very Happy Just the original CD music, or is mp3 okay as well?

I will bring a CD with originally carinthian (that' s a region in the south of Austria) songs, I 'm from there. It is like folk-music, proberbely you will not like it but at least you can know something tipically. In this region people like very much to sing toghether.
